thanks kel. we have finals next week. papers all due this week... well today. the last one's due in about 3 hours... and i have 5 pges to write still. ugh. oh well, 5 pages in 3 hours is totally doable.

KelRel, good luck with all of your tests!

I just finished the Sociology final from HELL. Thursday is my final for my Holocaust class (8 am, how cruel is that??) and then Friday is my Latin final.

And then I'm done, done, DONE! 'Til then, though, I'm stressing it.

Linguistics final Friday. Music history and statistics next Tuesday. Music history paper due the same day. Constitutional law take-home final and linguistics paper due next Friday.

Thanks KelRel!! I have 3 papers to work on tonight, 3 for tomorrow, and it's neverending, and of course they're all due by friday. can anyone relate? i think starbucks stock will go up this week!!

Good luck everyone in college or grad school. High school, too, if they still have them. I know we did in 1993!!

Thanks, I'll need it. This is the last week of classes, then two papers, two finals, and a 3000-mile drive and I'm home! (Is it sad that I'm dreading the drive more than the finals?)

Blech...I'm so done w/ school! I've only got one test-type final (and that's only part of the final for that class). I'm pretty much bogged down w/ papers for my finals. Sure it's nice not having to cram for 6 big exams, but it's also not cool to have 60+ pages worth of crap to write! 40(ish) down, 20(ish) to go!!! They aren't technically due until the 10th, but since my folks are coming to help me move out on Thursday, it'd be nice to have it all done before then and be able to just lay back and relax this weekend. *big sigh*

As if finals aren't bad enough, I just thought of another dreadful aspect of the school year coming to a close...Packing the room up! I've hit a bit of a brick wall in my final writing, and was glancing around my room. GOOD LORD!!! What a mess!!! I can see about 3 square inches of my desk, by bed is covered with clothes that I've been transferring from the bed to by computer chair every night when I go to bed. I've been doing this for the past 4 days? Why? Why don't I just weed through the pile and throw the dirty stuff in the closet and put the clean stuff away? I've become completely irrational and have officially lost all common sense! Yesterday, I went to get a slice of pizza and some garlic knots only to realize I only had $2 in my wallet. WTF?!?!? I had to run to the ATM and get some cash. Then, today, I went to pick up something for dinner at the grocery store and wanted to debit it so I don't have to take out any more cash (gonna try for a pair of tix to The Pillowman tomorrow night, and I had like $54...perfect. So, I kept trying to use an expired card (that I had NO idea was even still in my wallet) holding the poor people behind me up. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. ) If I can't even handle buying $6 worth of food at the grocery store HOW am I capable of doing any more finals related writing?!?! I just want it done! I wish I could knock these four questions out!!! AHHHHH!!!! 10 pages. I can do it! I can do it! Then there's just the journalism article. Then I'm DONE!...except for the packing.

Awwww Mabes...

I totally sympathize. I have 8 pages to write for my Holocaust class. And the two tests. I'm stressing... I've been living on a diet of fast food and TV dinners, which is SO unhealthy. Yeesh. But last night I did do laundry... 3 full loads, and it was almost half the pile of dirty clothes I have. But, at least I have clean underwear... always good.

I did laundry sometime last week. I officially have enough undwerwear to get me to Monday, which means I'm bringing a SH*Tload of dirty clothes home w/ me! I've been using up my extra quarters on M&M's at the vending machine...Whatever, I'm sure I have enough t-shirts and jeans to get me through a few more days.

I don't know why I do this to myself every year. I come from a long line of compulsive over-packers, which makes the whole process such a chore. Let's face it, I wear jeans 9/10ths of the time, and pretty much the same pair of shoes. Why do I bring all this other crap?

Back to my good friends Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, and Alan Watts. Woohoo!
