Computers for lefties?

Are there any? Just curious. Like having the CD slot, all ports, etc. on the left side? Windows for lefties might be nice also.(scroll bar on the left)

I highly doubt it, thetinymagic - we're too small a market for anything except simple products like can openers and whatnot to be marketed for us.

The scroll bar thing has a couple of solutions - one is to get a laptop with trackpad scrolling. Another is to change scrollbar settings for individual programs like Firefox and Word - look up instructions on the Web; I'm 99% sure this is possible.

Incidentally, Sinister opened this weekend and I recently learned that the Latin word for left was sinister, which also meant "evil" or "ominous." On the other hand (heh), the word for right was dexter, which meant "skillful" or "adroit." And the word ambidextrous literally means "right-handed with both hands."

My new Toshiba laptop, oddly, has the CD tray and the various ports on the left (except, I think, for headphones). I didn't choose it for that reason--though I am a lefty--but it's worked out as a nice surprise, not least because my power supply is to my left.
