I hope he can manage to keep the intimacy of the show. I adore his humor and pushing the boundaries. Yes, it is a Frat boy humor but with some serious brains behind it!
Letterman suffered (in my opinion) when he moved to the earlier time slot and larger venue and lost the more intimate feel of his show in 6H. His enjoyable Late night with David Letterman became a Lettermanesque arena show.

Him taking the podium and handing it out to an audience member without telling anyone is exactly what makes his show great!

Very classy shout out by Conan to David Letterman on last night's show. Saying that Letterman set the bar so high for the 12:30 slot and Conan's success was due to the pioneering of Letterman. I thought it was very classy as well as being very truthful.

Conan is a very classy guy! He is very good to giving credit to his staff and the people who help put on the show. It didn't surprise me at all that he gave credit to Letterman. I would have been shocked if he hadn't!
