Congress Says No No To Funds To Close Gitmo

The Democrats in Congress will not approve funds to close Gitmo until Obama assures them none of the detainees will wind up in the US.

When Obama made his announcement,I guess he did not bother to think what would happen to the detainees.Now his own party is throwing a roadblock in the way & not those darn old obstructionist Republicans.Ain't that a kick in the head.

Wait, doesn't this Republican talking point contradict the last 6 months of Republican talking points that Obama is some sort of fascist dictator doing whatever he pleases and that the people's opinions and desires are unrepresented?
