I have to say my favorite toy growing up was my talking Pee Wee Herman doll. I had Pee Wee's Playhouse colorforms too. I was such a Pee Wee freak.
It's ok Matt_G, my brother wanted a Dirt Devil for Christmas.

I need a dirt devil! And I do have a Cher doll. My dad gave her to me for my 24th birthday. And it's not just ANY Cher doll. It's a limited edition from France!
God, am I gay.

I got a nice Barbie house from my grandparents when I was small, but I just arranged it like a show house then left it alone. What I really wanted was a Ninja Turtle, which alarmed my parents because they had the impression that any show with the word "Ninja" in the title was too violent for a first grader.
My uncle got me an action figure of Leonardo.
But my favorite toys as a child were books and pencil and paper for drawing horses. I was a very nerdy child.

I had a friggin' awesome Barbie 3 story house, with an elevator. God, did I love that house.
We also had the Barbie RV and Jeep.
I really did love my Barbies. But my sister and I were so creative about it...we had the most awesome stories ever. (Well, not really, lol, but smart for young children) We had a story of a boarding school for children inflicted with a disease, a training astronaut school, the weirdest things ever.

My Barbie house had an elevator, too. I had fun taking it apart to see if I could put it back together again.
Like I said, I was a serious nerd as a child. :)

Posted: 9/2/04 at 9:58pmOh god, Barbies. I used to be so obcessed. I had the dream house and dream boat with the real working blender and everything. I fondly remember playing Barbie goes to court with my mom and we would have murder cases. You really can do anything with Barbies. They are the greatest things ever.
