Actually, etoile, I think with that caricature on the tee-shirt the slogan should be "ABORTION is Underrated."

Oh, and P2, I think the A&F reference was to their offensive tee-shirts that were all the talk last week.

I don't really want to get involved here, but Corine - I sincerely think you need to learn when to make jokes and when not to. What you said about adoption offended several people. Making a joke about it is only painting you in a worse light.

You're initial comment came off insensitive and your current posts in response are coming off obnoxious - not cute as I suspect you think they are.

Anyone who knows me knows I was talking about my fake adoption of Phantom2.
I was not talking about a real adoption. If people misunderstood me, they know now.
Additionally,
I was the one who was sent "PACKIN", not Phantycakes.
I was the one who was hurt. I ADORE PHANTYCAKES.
It is amazing how people twist the facts to make me the bad one.
If I was any sweeter, I would be eaten.

Let's back up from the banter for a minute. Corine, please listen to what Craig is saying. He has a very valid point, and you don't seem willing or able to see, not sure which, how your comments affect others. Adoption happens to not be a sensitive issue for me, but while I found your first comment about it merely stupid, your follow-up has been increasingly offensive.

What I really find irritating is that Corine Dana Cohen has completely ignored the request for an apology. Obviously she relishes the fact that she's hurt many people and laughs off the disparaging comment she made about adoption. I guess that somes from being so self-centered and with an inflated ego.

I suspect that part of the reason she is not getting it, Dollypop, is because the request is coming from you. And in all fairness, you have channeled your fair share of ill will in her direction over the years.

I think for that reason, at least in part, she may be missing the point that her comments were troubling to a wider audience.

You are correct. If I offended anyone, I am sorry. It was a joke between Phantom2 and myself. I adore children and want two.
If I offended anyone, I apologize as that was not my intention.
But DP, HAS ALWAYS provoked it. And, I have been a sport about so much on this board.
So. I will make an official statement.
I am sorry if I OFFENDED ANYONE.
I love children and hope to someday adopt. I adopted Phanty here and when he sent me "Packin" I was hurt and making a joke about it. It is just my way. I like to make jokes.
