There's a point in every bad musical when you throw up your hands and think 'this is never going to make any sense, so i'll try to salvage something by enjoying the singing, sets, etc.' That point came within the first 10 minutes.

Beaver, do you have any more batteries? Those are the only good vibrations left after this musical. I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to the Beach Boys with pure enjoyment, like I used to. Now, I'll hear "Barbara Ann" and cry at the thought of what they did to these songs. Massacred it, I tell you.

Anyway....I look forward to Corine2's review.

You kill me.

The cast are terrific. The songs are fun. I am a huge Beach Boy fan. HUGE. I even saw the Beach Boys in concert years ago.
They are one of my favorite bands of all time. I enjoyed the music, the talented singers and dancers.
It needs work. Is it a masterpiece? NO. The book is a mess.
But with some more work it could be a goldmine.
Tourists love this kind of upbeat show.
Even with the messy book and costumes i had fun.
It needs help and I really hope it does not close because with some extra work it could make many tourists happy.
I liked it more then Cats. I hope they fix it.
I don't want to see that large cast of talent at the unemployment office.
