To a woman named Yoko.
I love his passion for the art of cinema, in all it's premutations. And his ability to put movies in historical perspective.

Harry Knowles runs a very influential movie website called Ain't It Cool News (AICN).
He is considered a tastemaker and the studios know this.

Imagine if we here at BWW really had control as to how well a show would do. If a positive thread, or good reviews on here could sway box office and ensure a hit.

That's the kind of influence AICN has on movies. Well mainly fanboy type movies actually. But those tend to be the "tent-poles", or biggest money makers.

First, Harry Knowles has no talent, so no.

Second, his website is a hotbed of mis-information and outright lies. Frankly, after he "Leaked" completely false information on the Oscar Nominees I have never looked at his site again. He is not a journalist and barely a gossip. It's a testimony to our modern age that this hack can make a living.

His wife's name isn't Yoko, it's Patricia.They call her Yoko because she is Asian and it's a play on the perception that Yoko broke up the Beatles and the joke is that she'll break up the AICN gang

It's always disturbed me how much Harry Knowles looks like Eric Stoltz's character from "Mask".

Harry has had cameos in various films like HOSTEL and THE FACULTY. I admire his love for old films and he like me, is a geek who loves sci-fi/fanatsy films. Still, he has become very big (no pun intended)I actually thought he was gay.I could have sworn a report came out where he said he was.Guess I was wrong.I think he'd make a Great Edna!!!
