Wow. That's all I have to say.
I went to the auditorium at our school (just because I've never been) and there were some girls just playing around singing and there was this one guy who, uh, lets say he could probably snap me in two. He looked like a linebacker (and I think he is a football player because he had on a football jersey with our school's name on it) LOL. And he was white and had long sideburns. That image you have in your head? That's him.
Anyway, one of the girls said "John, sing Defying Gravity". So he said ok (oh yeah, ditto on the thick country accent). So he started singing a few bars in his twangy accent and it sounded....perfect. I mean, it made no sense for him to be singing that song LIKE that but it sounded, well, perfect. He had a strong, twangy voice but his tone wasn't hard. When he got to the end (the part everybody likes) he really let loose. They should have seriously recorded that and released it. Hell, I don't even like country music and I would have bought it.
It's kinda hard to get over, you guys.
