Posted: 9/2/05 at 9:30pmI have sold tickets on there for both 'Spamalot' (recent) and 'Hairspray' (a while ago). I was just looking for what I paid for them and found buyers both times.

I've just heard that there are lots of scams on there, either for people trying to get your email address for spam, or selling fake tickets, or using fake money, or just using any means possible to make lots of money and screwing over someone.
I've used it to look for roommates and to buy/sell tickets and it's been ok, but I'm always skeptical...

I got a summer apartment through Craigslist. It wasn't that great, but I was really desperate at the time, so I took a risk.
I sold a bed a couple months ago.
You are right to be skeptical, but it's such a helpful site!

Thanks for the info everyone. It's good to hear that people have positive experiences with the site.
I've been interviewing people for roommates, going well so far thank goodness!
