I had blind bought these awhile ago and finally got around to watching them.
I watched both of these for Halloween, and really enjoyed them both. The innocents, is a fantastic haunted house film, and Deborah Kerr is excellent in it! I also thought the kids were excellent considering what was asked of them. The Criterion transfer for this is stunning. It looks like it was released this year.
The Uninvited was a bit more hokey, I found it more akin to a Noel Coward play crossed with The Haunting. But the performances were good, and store was often quite funny.
Both were films I had never come across before. Are these films in anyone's horror collection?
