Hey All,

My name is John Legg. You may think i'm just saying this because it's awesome, but i saw the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables at a local theater last wednesday evening. I want to look into getting involved with theatre and singing. I've never had training or anything. I once was in a county choir when i lived in michigan, many years ago. I want to sing, and Les Miserables really put into perspective what i could do if i tried hard, and put my heart into it. I just need some direction. I was never in any choir, but i was in band. I know how to read music(even though its been about 3 years since i got out of high school.). My parents both have very great singing voices, and i know i could too if i had some proper training. Let me know if you can help. Thank you

What exactly is your question? If you really want to start singing, start taking voice lessons. Audition for community theater. It seems like you're saying you could be a great singer if you get some training, so I think you already have your answer.
