Anyone else there last night?

Where are the words for Cyndi Lauper?

I don't have them--either you fall short in expressing her gifts and attributes--"amazing" and "incredible" are feeble in the face of this woman--or you veer off into words like "Goddess", which meets the need, but feels a little un-hinged.

I'm like Alvy Singer--I LERVE Cyndi Lauper.

I have a couple of friends who were there. They were tweeting that it was the best concert ever. Sounds like it was a good evening.

An amazing evening. Sara McLachlan, Adam Lambert, Jason Mraz, Terri Nunn, Roberta Flack, Alexis Krauss, Adam Duritz & David Whatshisname from Counting Crows, St. Vincent, Hunter Valentine.

Some extraordinary voices. Many of them sang duets with Cyndi, who is such an incredible technician/artist/vocalist--she sounds absolutely inevitable with everyone she sings with.

Billy Porter did a knockout number from 'Kinky Boots'.

Oh--and Carmen Electra lip-synched her new jazzercize song. She certainly is...fit. And I appreciate her support of the Gay youth.
