Well, at least for now it's weakened and it's down from a Hurricane back to a Tropical Storm. Chances are good that once it passes over Cuba it will weaken some more. That's if it doesn't change course all together.

Hoping the mountains of Cuba break it up and it spends more time over land.....

For those of you in South Florida, make sure to top off your tanks ASAP. I've heard that some gas stations are already running low on their supplies!

I'm outa here.
Flight is tomorrow at 11:30

All colleges, public schools and government offices in the 3 counties near here are closed tomorrow and most are closed Wednesday. College has yet to decide about Wednesday.

However, if there is class on Wednesday, I will just miss 1 because I don't have class Thurs or Fri.
I don't even have to come back until Mon. because it's labor day!

Harris, it really doesn't look like you'll get much but good luck!! And, good luck to all others!

I just watched the 11:00 update and the storm has not yet weakened (still 40 mph) but it is NOT supposed to become a hurricane.

Nobody knows for sure though.

They said it more than likely WON'T strenghten to a hurricane.

Plus, it doesn't even look like it's gonna be bad near you.
