Folks, is this thread about the get together in DC, or is this general chat thread?

If this not focused on details about DC event in December there is no reason to keep this pinned to the top of the OT board.

Please keep on topic if you'd like to maintain the prime placement.

I guess there were no plans being discussed at the moment, so we were just chatting. There will be plans discussed as they happen...would it be okay if it just sat all day with no discussion? We're just having fun in between plans.

If there's nothing to add to the plans for the moment, there's nothing to add. This should be focused on the details and logistics of the event and as a place for interested individuals to express their interest in attending.

Chatting about yourself is no reason to keep this pinned to the top. If you care to chat about yourself, or other topics, start another thread and allow it flow through the board pages like everyone else's.

Jose`, we will try to keep things more "on track", but isn't the building and continuing relationship of BWW members part of the charm and wonder of BWW gatherings? Here we have two friends who have had their relationship strengthened by their encounters at other gatherings, gatherings that you organized. And if I remember the gathering thread that you had up for months was partially chat about non related topics. I do not want to provoke and have the pin removed, but I am just curious as to how interaction between posters is not on track. Plus the way that Rath and Moony interact is the main draw for some BWWers!

Anyways, we will try to keep things more "on track".

Wow talk about...irony. I have friends in DC, planned a couple of visits so I figured I'd click just to see what the plan was.

So yeah something funny...we don't have the logistics all worked out but I'm taking my friend who lives in West Virgina, about an hour out of DC to Wicked at the Kennedy Center at 7 PM...on...December 27! Freaky. I mean I'll be w/ my friend and may be picking her up so I'm pretty doubtful I could go...though...if it's not that far from the Kennedy Center, I could bring her w/ me to go in and say a quick hello or something...just crazy that the one date I'm definitely gonna be in DC in the next lots of months is that day. LOL.
