Dominion Stage has made a resurgence over the past year and a half. Many thought this group had gone defunct, but they didn't. In fact, they're back and stronger than ever. The group developing a reputation of presenting edgier and more provocative shows.
Their final show of the season is Paul Rudnick's "Jeffrey". The story of a gay man in 1990's NYC. AIDS is claiming the life of many of his friends and it's changing sex for good. Just when he decides to give it up completely, he meets the perfect man for him...except he's HIV positive. Even though, the show deals with AIDS and death, it's actually a comedy and a very fun show!
Full disclosure here: I am the costume designer for the show, so, of course I want you to come see them (the Sun Gazette called them top notch...yay!) However, it's an awesome show and it's an official event of the DC Capital Pride Festival. A great night of entertainment!!! Come see it.
