I guess b/c they want to keep the momentum going during the show's recess. Also to tie into both the cds that have been released.
It's only part 1 of season 1. Part 2 of season 1 will street later, followed by a complete season 1 set comprising both previous releases.
It seems to be the new trend that shows pick up viewers through dvd sales who then tune in to the regularly aired shows.
