Got my new Celtic Thunder DVD It's Entertainment in the mail yesterday and I watched it before I went to bed.
The newest release is meant to be an homage to all of the different styles of music that came before. Covers of Standing on the Corner, I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Every Breath You Take, and a Surfer Medley are a few of the highlights. The guys are in great voice as usual. Damian is tremendously talented for someone his age (17) but the awkwardness of his movements are starting to wear thin on me. It was cute when he was 14 but not so cute now.
My favorite moment of the DVD was Ryan's Bad, Bad Leroy Brown. Of the five men Ryan is the most theatrical and this number worked because of that. They played it off more as a scene in a show or a movie. Ryan looked great and played the character well. I'd love to see him get to Broadway someday.
