That was beautiful. Thank you, PJ.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I actually saw this production of Night Music. It was brilliant.

Her Send in the Clowns rescued that song from shopping mall music boxes and restored it to its rightful place among the great moments in musical theatre.

Wow. That was utterly gorgeous, and I'm in tears now.

Wonderful.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

I never get sick of seeing the Hey Mr. Producer version. That's a Sondheim masterclass for you in 4 minutes 35 seconds. What a great actress.

I know Judi's too old for this role now, so I wish "they" would revive 'Night Music with the recent LA Opera cast. It would be sublime to see them again in a full production. But, God in heaven, don't let John Doyle anywhere near this one.

"But, God in heaven, don't let John Doyle anywhere near this one."

Funny, because part of this show involves a character playing an instrument.

I know that PJ, my point is that the "concept" of the characters playing instruments has already been put into the show. I think "...Night Music" is one of the shows Doyle could best "get away" with using his actor-musician style.

I've actually never heard that song before today. So beautiful! (Although I think Barbara's is better....singing. Dench nailed the acting.)
How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

I know I shouldn't do this..but I just found it and really felt it needs to shared.

This still is the BEST production of A Little Night Music I've ever seen. The video doesn't do it justice.. but is should give you hint of what a wonderful evening of theatre it was.
