Dams failing.

This is rather scary as I just drove across one last night. Makes you wonder how safe your local dams really are.

i live near one of the resivoirs that supplies drinking water to new york city (not the one listed in the article, but atleast they have an evacuation plan) and there's been something wrong with it for a couple years now, some cracking and whatnot. guess who hasn't fixed it....
