Y'all helped me before figure out a song, and I was wondering if lightning could strike twice. There was a dance song in the late 90s (I'm thinking 1997, maybe '98 ) that always sounded to me like they were saying "Andy Cunanan" over and over in the lyrics.
This was right after the Versace murder, so that's how I'm pinpointing the time period, but I doubt that the hook was really "Andy Cunanan". Any thoughts?

Well Andrew Cunanan murdered Versace so they might have actually been saying that.
That's what always struck me. I thought they couldn't possibly be singing that, but that's all I could hear whenever the song came on in the clubs.
It's just you. There was never a song like that.
I bet that smart guy who worked in Virgin can pinpoint exactly what song it is.
There was never a song like that. Stop being creepy.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Versace by Migos w/Drake? It's recent and there have to be 5 or 6 different versions getting airplay and club play.
No, it was definitely late 90s. I remember it because I was shocked and appalled that they **might** be saying "Andy Cunanan, Andy Cunanan" several times in the hook of the dance song.
I'm sure they must have been singing something else but once that's what I thought I heard, I could never unhear it.

Follow this link but don't drop any bread crumbs along the way.
the song
Nope, that's from 2010. The song I am thinking about was definitely '97-'99 time period.
