I NEED A GOOD BROADWAY DANCE SONG!!!!!!
Ideally I want something slow int the begining(lyrical almost) for a a nice counter balance starting position and some pas de deux. Then I would like there to be the sense that more people come on and the tone changes to a more in-your-face broadway jazzy dance (fosse maybe....oh the ideas!!!). Oh and if possible a tap section of the song (that's very fosse, laid back but add on)? And it would be best if there were some vocals maybe sung by a soloist who didn't dance.
DOES SUCH A SONG EXIST?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I was thinking to look into movin' out or contact but I don't know!!!!!
Any ideas would help!!!!
Thanks,
Dancerboy

He Had it Comin' from Chicago maybe? Sound like you have some wonderful ideas. Hope you find that perfect song

If anything comes to mind as a dance song from Chicago, it's "I Can't Do It Alone."
I Can't Do It Alone is a great dance song... but I suggested Cell Block Tango because it has all those tango sequences at the beginning, then gradually more people are added to the dance etc. But I don't know. I'm not the one trying to choreograph anything...
I Like To Boogie- T.Rex.

I know it's not Broadway, but Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet" would probably be pretty fun to dance to. It's slow, fast, slow, fast, slow, fast, freak out jazzy... and Bjork, so you can't go wrong.
