I've just seen this documentary by Matthew Diamond about the dancer and choreographer Paul Taylor. What an extraordinary film. The moment when the sound system fails during a command performance in India left me with my heart in my mouth. And such marvellous dancing, particularly from Patrick Corban. As soon as the final credits rolled, I watched the whole thing through again!
Wildcat, I too liked this film. Glad to see that others have seen it.
Patrick Corbin is a friend of mine -- actually have known him for twenty years (we were fetuses!). He IS a remarkably gifted dancer, and an even more gifted person. Extremely funny! All in all, a great guy with way too much talent!
Yes, he came over very strongly in his interviews. And of course he's so hideous to look at.... *sigh*
Corbin is also a very creative choreographer.
He's a good friend of mine and a hoot!
Well, now I know who I'm going to marry to get my Green Card....
He's a smart cookie.
Former Joffrey dancer too.
He owns a whole building in Manhattan.
Catch him if you can!

My water oxen are waiting at Idlewild...
Have a preacher ready, Glebby!
Don't forget the maps and the martinis.
