Ok dancers major question for you tonight at a rehearsal I was at we were discussing if people do the nasal yes (more like yehsss) and you better live, work it, and fierce? Some knew of it others did not...my question is how universal is it?

If this is going to turn into a "let's be rude and sarcastic" thread then don't waste your time... I was just asking a question.

I've never heard of that before and I've been dancing for about 12 years.

I've heard all of those, but in singing situations.

I've danced most of my life and never heard any of my teachers say that.

I've only heard "fierce," but I'm not a dancer.

I guess it depends on where you're from, and who you hang out with. Around where I'm from, and the circles I hang out in, the phrases are common, if not overused to the point of annoyance.

It is very prevalant among the younger generation (late teens- early twenties).
