I just love John, tho. Dancing is so much more than just doing the moves...you've gotta breathe life into it, and I think he was the prime example of that. Does anyone know if he has any theatrical experience? I could easily see him playing Billy Flynn. lol

The whole point was to pacify the people who were pissed that O'Hurley didn't win. So of course he won. But they didn't want to piss off the people who believed Kelly won fair and square, so they made up that ridiculous 1% thing.

We're talking about Kelly Monaco. Kelly Clarkson is not on Dancing With the Stars.

So then do you think this whole process was nessecary? I mean, the funny thing is, if this time around it were also up to the judges, it looks like John and Charlotte would still have walked away winners. Of course, I'd never put it past the network to make everything pro-John so they can make sure he wins - I still want to believe it was really all up to audience voting and not some network set-up, but I wouldn't put it past them to tell the judges to be very nice to John. But, in the long run, I think John was the better performer and deserved what he got tonight.

I think that after that first week, Kelly really stepped up and worked her ass off and ended up deserving to win. I do think it's more difficult to be a woman when it comes to this kind of dancing, when it comes right down to it. The only reason they had this Danceoff thing was because so many people disagreed with that result. Why would they otherwise? So of course O'Hurley had to win. It makes a mockery of the original competition. Yes, I realize what I just said.

John and Kelly should have done a dance together!

I'm just content in recognizing John as the King of classic and traditional dance and Kelly as the Queen of modern and latin dance....they can rule together in a Kingdom of Dance-itude.

I heard Kelly interviewed on the radio about this a couple of weeks ago, and she was clearly unhappy that she won and yet they were doing a Dance-off. I didn't blame her.

Well she can piss off. She didn't HAVE to do this. lol. I just think that people got adequate to reevaluate the situation and make the right choice...
