I admit I have long been a Marvel fanatic, but I think Daredevil is some of the best work Marvel studios has done to date. Is anyone else watching?

I HATE HATE HATE Frank Miller and anything he's written in a very long time...
But his Daredevil run is perhaps my all time fave superhero comic--I've read the complete run at least three times (admittedly I don't read a lot of superhero comics though I do like a lot of Claremont's X-Men run.) If they manage to use a lot of that--and better than how they did in the movie--I'll be pleased.
Metacritic has a score of 75% poz which is very good considering.
Alas, I am forcing myself not to start them until I'm done essays/exams midway next week. It will be hard, but I know I won't be able to just watch one. So I may bow out of this topic till then.

I'm watching with some friends, so we're going a little slower than we would individually because of schedules. But we're four eps in and it's amazing. I mean, I was hooked by the first ep. It's pretty brutal in places, and one of my friends is a bit loathe to continue after the first two eps because she doesn't really like the stark super evil of the baddies in the first two eps and the sense of justification it gives Matt's brutality. I think that's not going to be the endgame of the show, though, and I think she'd be pleased if I can get her to continue to see more of Fisk. Because holy ****, Fisk. And holy SH*T, Vanessa. Can they just be King and Queen of New York?
