Posted: 2/27/05 at 8:19pmMy brother absolutely loves Deadwood. I find it a little too brutal. That Sweargin is magnificant in his role. He did win best actor in a drama series. I like Carnivale, Sopranos and Six Feet Under better. I had to close my eyes when they beat up that young girl and her brother. Gosh!!!!!!!!

Okay Mr. Roxy, you know I have to post on anything Deadwood related. It's my favorite show on television right now (other than Degrassi, of course). The preview for season 2 looks @#*% great!
BroadwayLady-didn't Six Feet Under get cancelled? Bummer.

Posted: 3/6/05 at 12:13pmAre you f*%$ing kidding? We'd make the town seem slightly cultured. He'd love us. (After he punched us around a bit, of course.)

Now see here all you ******* ***********
Smoke em if you got em
Now get the **** outta here
If they ever "cleaned this up " for a wider audience each episode how would be about 3 minutes. Did you notice the only character who did not swear (Wild Bill Hickock played by Keith (Will Rogers) Carridine ) got whacked midway thru the first season ?
Something tells me this depiction of the old west is a tad more realistic than Gunsmoke or any other TV western. ******* A

The Mrs speaks French fluently which will come in handy when we got to Montreal in July
I have not been there since 1970 & she has never been there. Should be fun
