Who remembers the Dean Martin Celebrity Roast show? They were one big drunk fest.

Did the person being roasted know the jokes ahead of time? Because some of them sound really mean spirited. Betty White being roasted by LaWanda Page and Joan Collins being roasted by Phyllis Diller seem uncomfortable.

These were sanitized versions of Friars Roasts which are much worse.

Too bad they have not been put on ME TV or Antenna TV

I loved them! Used to watch with my mom, and we'd both be laughing so hard that tears were streaming.

They are the best at spontaneous jokes! So funny to catch you off guard. Some where so dumb they were funny and they just made you lol for the longest time!
