The other day...I saw a trailer for what looked to be a generic gangster movie starring Jay Hernandez and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Yet then the title flashed: CARLITO'S WAY: RISE TO POWER.
Yes that's right.
It's a prequel.
With Jay Hernandez playing a character once essayed by Al Pacino.
