Wow.
And, having had friends who themselves or their children were really battling cancer, this woman's actions really make me angry.

...last name is Faria, which is the last name of the first man from Cupertino, CA to die in Vietnam.....wonder if she is related.
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Posted: 6/18/06 at 3:51pmOn the other hand, I wouldn't presume to condemn someone for where she is on her lifejourney. Perhaps there were impactful examples of mental or physical abuse that caused her to move away from goodness and light and towards the darkness that has existed since the Dawn of Money? This is not to say that she needn't repay her debt to society, and all who donated in good faith, but rather that I haven't walked a mile in her mocassins.
