Did the group really break-up?????? I always thought that they had, but then was informed that they were just "taking a break." I guess, it's official now.

LOL @ Popcultureboy. You're right. It isn't that much of a surprise. Let's face it. If she was that heartbroken, DC would still be together. It's not like Kelly and Michelle decided to break up the group. I wish them (Kelly & Michelle) the very best because everyone's cracking jokes at their expense, saying they won't be able to afford a meal now that they've broken up.

MTV, they did break up, then got back together for the new CD, and at that point there was a lot of emoting in interviews about how they'd always be together no matter what, because they are family, you know...


Then they broke up.

the thing is, they're saying neither of them were or ever should be deemed as "break-ups"... the first time they announced that the group was taking a break and they would definitely come back together to do another albulm once they had done some individual stuff... they did. what's happening now is they did an albulm together and now they're saying, we're not going to do another one together for a while. we're going to do the tour we're on. but after that we want to individual stuff, including starting a family (kelly and michelle did have something to do with the separation)... but they have always left the door open that they might come back in another five or ten years. they don't want it to be called a "break-up"
