As can be expected, Oklahoma overwhelmingly (66%) voted for Bush and voted by 83% to define marriage as between one man and one woman. Not a big shock for me.
What did surprise and upset me is the paper I found on my desk at work this morning. I have never had any problems at work. Everyone knows that I am gay. A few people are standoffish, but my immediate coworkers are totally cool. But this morning I find a run off paper on my desk equating homosexuality with beastiality, speaking of how unnatural it is, and calling on America to stop gays and liberalpoliticians from removing manger scenes at Christmas and replacing them with "images of transvestitism and beastiality as seen in numerous gay pride parades."
My boss was sympathetic to my complaints (he had even personally removed it from the bulletin board and from off the wall), but, unfortunately, no one knows how it got to be on my desk...
Too bad you didn't have security cameras. Some people find this rather ammusing I'm sure. I'm sorry you had to go through this.
Thanks for the suggestion, Beaverhausen...I may just print up a festive wall hanging with your customized tagline...
I am sorry that happened Ma. Some people can be real jerks!
And Beav, you really shouldn't be putting such bad ideas into Ma's head (without me!)
In some states, it's not an HR issue at all because either the law for protection for homosexuals was reversed or simply never passed.

That's unfortunate, ma.
Even I wouldn't stoop that low.
Well, Rodney, I'm surprised at you..aren't you afraid that kind comment could tarnish yor reputation as a the unpopular conservative on Broadwayworld? Afterall, in other postings you've been down right narrowminded; do you stand by your statement that New Yorkers are idiots or all your comments on your civil war thread?
