I don't know if Mike is really dead. Though super unrealistic if he was still alive after what happened, it's not unlike Desperate Housewives to exaggerate things a little. They only said one person was dying, and we know for sure Matthew is dead. I just don't think they would kill James Denton so fast.

I just finished watching.
I don't think Mike is dead, maybe in a coma though.

There wasn't so much a huge cliffhanger than lots of little ones. Zach and his house, Carlos and the affair, Tom's kid, Bree and Orson, etc.

technically, two people died tonight when you count Zach's grandfather.

I already don't like the story with Tom's child's mother. That woman is seriously going to annoy me. Simply him having another child would make for an interesting story, but of course, DH isn't known for its simplicity.

I thought it was great that Bree showed that she was willing to sacrifice her own life to protect her daughter, but like it has been said- Danielle probably won't see it that way.

And WTF happened with Mike? Now that's an interesting story, I want to know what that creepy dentist guy has against him. Although nearly every show's season finale had the "are they dead or not?" cliffhanger. I doubt he's dead. It'll make for a better story trying to figure out their connection.

But I agree, I doubt they killed off mike, they do have an interesting story line for next season.

very, very dark tonight.......not what I am used to from this show

lots of things tied up.....lots of new things started.

This show certainly does keep us on our toes.

I love the new character that Tom diddled with for one night and now has a daughter....she will spice things up.

I'm sorry to see Alfre go, one of my favorite actresses.

Great to see Roger Bart, if only for a second, especially having rented The Producers friday night.....

I am going to hate Zach......he'll end up just like his grandfather.......

and that stupid Carlos..."Now we're even"......idiot!

Actually I think she will see it that way. She was really mad that 1. he even had a gun and 2. that he was pointing it at Bree. She kept yelling at him to put it down and you could tell she was really scared of him at that point. I think that whole scene made her change her mind about going away with him.

My guess is that he at least thinks that Mike knows something he shouldn't back from the prison.

I felt so bad for Susan at that point because sheactually think that he didn't come because he doesn't love her anymore. That made me really sad.

I join that people that HATE the woman Tom had a one night stand with. Worst character they have come up with so far.

I don't like thinking Zach is becoming like his grandfather. At all. But i DO like that he won't give his father the money after he tried to play the "do it for your mom" card.

I don't know what I think of toms's new kid story line. but I know that the woman playing "the one night stand girl" was Alex on Saved by the bell the college years.

Two hours of back story, dealing with Susan and Carl and not ONE SCENE WITH EDIE? What is up with that?
Mike is not dead.
Woodard was wasted on this show and it's good she is leaving (for her own sake.)
I thought the Mother of Tom's kid was funny and will be a great foil for Lynette. Unless of course she dies and the teen has to move in with the family and Lynette has an instant teen aged daughter...now there is some fun...
