Desperate Housewives and Roger Bart

Tonight's opening was the best yet. Even got to hear Roger sing. I just love this guy!

No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Yep, it seems like he's out of the picture. He's such a nice guy, but his character on DH was so creepy! Tonight's ep was a good one.

And didn't Marcia Cross look stunning in that white dress? Hair, makeup, everything was perfect.....

Poor George.

Can we say "SPOILERS!!"?

I saw it, but there are some who may read this thread not having seen tonight's episode yet.

That said, do you really think George is a gonner?
PEACE.

re: Desperate Housewives and Roger Bart

If you haven't seen an episode or a movie and you are foolish enough to open a thread on said episode or movie, I just don't have much pity for you. Spoilers are to be expected. Just wait until you have seen the show or movie. It's spoilers in thread titles and thread titles that do not accurately convey the subject that are a problem.

It was a fabulous episode tonite!

re: Desperate Housewives and Roger Bart

I agree to some extent, Jerby. But since there is already a DH thread and the title includes Roger Bart it could lead some to think it was a thread about that actor on the show, not about his character...
Anyway, it is still polite to put a spoiler alert on anything like that.

PEACE.

Oh, and Miss Cross? Emmy time.

Yes!! I heart Marcia Cross, it bugs me how Fangoria and Teri Hatcher always get the press with this show. And (random story time) I met Marcia Cross once- a couple of years ago I was walking down the hallway at work and turned the corner and there she was, standing in front of the elevators. Of course my first thought was "OMG Kimberly, she pulled off her wig!!" But once I got past that all was fine. :)

Sueleen, you are right--it would be better to put spoiler alerts just in case. :)

And, I am thrilled that Felicity won the Emmy this year. Now, it's time to give it to Marcia. Or I will pull out my shotgun!!!!

SPOILER

I am so sad that he's gone! I love Roger Bart, I love crazy neurotic George, and I loved the singing opening!!!! I guess they had used enough of his drama. I second the Marcia Cross Emmy Award, she is just fabulous.

Marcia Cross got tons of publicity earlier this year, when there were rumors she was gay and was about to come out.

Was I the only one who got flashbacks to Bette Davis in "Little Foxes" refusing to get her husband's heart medication and watching him climb up the stairs and collapse before calling for help? Cross should play Regina Giddens in a few years .....

*******SPOLIER*******

I like Roger Bart, but it was time for George to go. I was kind of hoping Bree would agree to help him, then turn around and send him to the police AFTER having his stomach pumped. IF he is dead, well then he got off easy. That man belonged in jail.
He had the nerve to tell her he was just doing what she wanted him to do!? WTF!?
Marcia was great last night, as always.
