Warwick is worth seeing purely for nostalgia. Just saw her two months ago in Vegas.. she has no voice left and she only does a 70 minute set.

I didn't take anything out of context. I quoted her verbatim. She said it twice. Once on Letterman and then again on GMA. If people on this board choose to read more into it that's on them.

You omitted her laugh and the part where she says that she hopes she has inspired and how she is aware they have emulated her and how she thinks Beyonce is beautiful. You misquoted her. You were trying t make her come out bad. You put a spin on it. The interview is widely available on the site that can't be named for all to see. The "seeing it with her lawyer" was a joke. She laughed both times she said it.

Ross is nothing like Deena and I wish someone in the press would point that out.

Deena is a victim, Ms. Ross - was no victim.

Was there any talk in the 80's of Ross suing the original MB production?

Mateo, there were reports/rumours that she was unhappy with the show and that she walked out before the first act was over.
I've never read anything about her threatening any legal action so I really couldn't say.

I find the fact that she only crawled out from under her rock of obscurity when DREAMGIRLS the movie proved to be a critical success to be more than obvious. The better to ride it's coattails to a last hurrah. The washed up hag needs to fade away permanently now.

How nasty can you be? First of all .. the release of her album at this time is a very smart move. Second of all.. this woman is a legend. Good for her for still working at her age. Lets see what most of you are doing at her age. What a horrid thing to call people that have reached a certain age hags and wish them to fade away. What a moron.
