We watched this in journalism class my freshman year of high school. It was a fun companion to "All the President's Men," which we also watched.
As far as Kirsten Dunst, "Drop Dead Gorgeous" is one of my top 15 movies and I just loved her in "The Virgin Suicides." A very talented actress who has only scratched the surface of her potential.
"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.

I don't like Dunst either, but I do enjoy this movie very much.
I love when when "I Honestly Love You" by Olivia Newton-John was sung. One of my favorite parts. (I guess because I love Olivia Newton-John.)

Posted: 8/16/06 at 7:09amI have seen this movie, and thought it was hilarious.I am going to tell you a funny story from when this movie was in theaters. I passed by a multiplex one day. The place has 8 screens, but had 9 movies playing there at this time. Dick was playing there as was the animated movie The Iron Giant. It was on the board as Iron Giant. This would have been all right if they did not have Iron Giant directly next to Dick with nothing separating the titles. I had to do a double take. This was either someone's idea of a joke, or a monumental blunder by someone who did not realize they were putting up what sounds like the title of a bad porno movie!
