I'm auditioning for the part of Dickon in "Secret Garden" and we're supposed to have a song that shows we're a legitimate tenor and a song that shows off a "pop or folk-rock" style. Please help!

My possibilities (not limited to):

How I Know You- Aida (for the pop style)
If I Can't Love Her- BATB (for the legitimacy)
Take A Chance on Me- Little Women (either)

I'm sure they're all horrendously overused. PLEASE HELP ME

I agree.

However, I think you should learn and do "Not While I'm Around" from "Sweeney Todd" for your legit piece, along with "Take a Chance on Me" as your up-tempo.
