How was it, for I so want to know. Does it really lose comic momentum too quickly, as everyone has been saying? How were the cameos?

Just got back from the movie. It's disappointing. I don't think it translates to the big screen too well. It's entertaining, but I laugh a lot more watching the old comedy central shows. I thought the movie would be fairly crude, but it's tame compared to what you see on TV....that was surprising. And some of the stuff is just recycled material from the series.

Sedaris is a resolutely unfunny performer who's been doing the same tired, stupid, one-note schtick for years. She should stick to making cupcakes.
