Difficult decision for audition pieces

Hi, I’m auditioning for a role in my school’s production of We Will Rock You, and I needed to find a good rock musical piece to audtion with. I’m shooting for the role of Khashoggi so I want a piece with a villainous undertone. I have found that Cousin Kevin from Tommy and King Herod’s Song from Jesus Christ Superstar are both great options, but I’m torn between the two. Cousin Kevin starts low and goes high in just a measure, a jump from F to F, no in between. However, King Herod’s song goes all over the staff, which I think better shows off my abilities, but I don’t think it’ll be “rock” sounding enough for my director. I’m torn. Any thought from anyone as to which piece I should pick?
