K – I agree about the joy of cooking. We are old fashioned in that we cook almost every night even when it is hectic. We often serve the kids separately which may not always be the smartest idea – but it gives us some time without them with our hectic schedules.

I love the weekend meals with friends when you can spend hours preparing and cooking and serving. Over the years we have served the couples to the dozens. Ah, such memories. Do you know the Gurney play “The Dining Room?”

I love cooking... maybe a little too much. I always make a huge mess when I cook, every dish and utensil gets used. So I usually only cook "all out" on the weekends...
