Directing Audition Portfolio

I am an incoming Pace University Sophomore - currently a psychology major, but will be auditioning for the directing program.

Our audition includes a directing portfolio. Any suggestions as to what I should include?

I plan to break it down into categories. The first page will include my headshot and resume. Next, I want to include a written statement about my goals as a director, the method i use, past experience and techniques, etc. Next, I want to include a character analysis section where I use Stanislavski to walk a character through a monologue. I plan to use Curly's Wife's monologue at the end of Of Mice and Men, since I worked with this in my Acting 1 class at Pace. The final part would be production elements - little things I contribute like props, advertising, activities, etc.

I want to blend what i HAVE done with what I hope to.

any suggestions are very welcome!

Do you have any photos of your work? It's always nice to include some photos to tie together the other elements of a portfolio, especially when you're trying to convey the transition from process (notes, character analysis, etc.) into product (photos, reviews, etc.).

I definately have photos of production elements like props, and of my own acting. I don't have many photos of stuff I directed, since i'm relatively new to it
