My wife and I spent three days in Disneyworld this week and were very impressed by the safety measures Disney has taken. If you stay in a Disney hotel, you check in online and your magic band is your room key. The cleaning staff comes in every other day and only gives you new towels and takes out the trash. The room gets fully cleaned again once you leave. You do not have to checkout at desk, bill will go to your email.
When you take a Disney bus, they give you assigned seat to be socially distant and the bus is half full at most. Everyone is required to wear a mask or they can't get on bus. Before you enter the park, you go in tent and get your temperature taken. You no longer get your bag inspected if you bring one in, you go thru detector and if there is an issue they will inspect your bag. You use magic band for entrance and no longer place finger on machine for fingerprint identification. The rides all have markings for people to stand that are 6 ft apart, it does make the line seem longer. The park is still operating at 25% capacity. There are no longer scheduled parades but there are "pop up" appearances of Disney characters. I witnessed Disney employees cleaning rides with disinfectant a bunch of times.
Eating at counter service restaurants is mobile phone order only. Tables outside have a card that you take picture of which becomes a PDF of the menu. Once you get notified your order is ready, you can then pick it up and eat outside. Dining at the regular restaurants, the menu is handled the same way. They will give you a menu if you have issues with your phone getting the PDF. All servers wore masks and most of them also wore face shield. You can not pay cash, credit/debit cards only.
Overall, good job Disney for doing the best you can to make people still enjoy parks in this tough time.
