I saw this trailer when I went to go see 'Wolverine' (which was a completely disappointing movie, by the way), and I was completely WTFed.

There are billboards and signs sprinkled around the LA area. I had absolutely no idea what they were for, so now I do!

I tend to hate horror and alien movies, but I wouldn't mind seeing this one. It's really hard to make a reptilian/insect character seem sympathetic, but the trailers I've seen seem to do that.

And the CGI is phenomenal! If I didn't know better then I would think they were real.

can not wait for this.
when i first saw the preview i thought it was genius the way they set it up to look like this city was being taken over by another country. then BANG....big spaceship.

i went to the District 9 panel today at the san diego comic on and peter jackson was there (he is the producer) along with the star and director... anyways... i was always intrigued by the trailer but today they showed an almost 10 minutes preview of the movie and it looks freaking AMAZING!!!!!!! i literally was in awe of it... the trailer is one thing but to actually see footage was just incredible... i'm truly excited for this movie to come out!!! it's very much going to be a sci fi action flick but with a true heart to the story...
