I'm not all too familiar with Hair, but I was trying to contrast the fact that dramatic literature is much much liberated now than it was 50 or 60 years ago.

(Haha, I'm laughing at myself for not being familiar with Hair when I should be).

No I totally get what point you were making and I agree. Just saying, before Rent changed an art form, Hair did. It showed the adults/parents of that generation what the youth stood for and they weren't afraid to show them everything...including their bodies hahah it's a really great show I think.

Every generation is a rose; it has some an equal amount of flaws and good traits which are unique to it. For instance, our generation is spoiled and refuses to tak things in moderation. Our generation is also much more open and accepting of other people.

I have to say that I do enjoy my generation, just not the people my age. What I mean is that I think I was born a couple years too late (of course this is in relation to the town where I live, not necessarily people in other places.) Most of the people who I really consider my friends graduated a year and a half ago. It seems (in my area) that no one seems excited for anything anymore.

I always felt I should have either lived during the 1920s or England around 1814.

I do like our generation. I love us, actually. I think we're much more open-minded and up for development. If I lived during my parent's generation, or my grandparent's, I would probably feel suffocated.

I mean, Denzel Washington? Gun to my head..of course.
