Do you know the rep of The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts?

I'm trying to figure out what this school is all about. It's only a few thousand dollars more to go to a ivy league school but it's just a "certificate" program. It's also a for- profit company. Does anyone know who went there or any idea why people choose to go there? I have a friend who says he was accepted there, but I had never heard of it.
