A quarter of all eligible songs are from HSM3 this year. At least one best song nomination is all but inevitable...but...How cool would it be if they landed ALL FIVE nomination slots this year?

Posted: 12/18/08 at 1:59pmI believe there is a limit as to how many songs per movie can be nominated, the rules were changed this year after ENCHANTED got three nods and DREAMGIRLS got three as well in '07.

You can't rob what was never there.
"Rock me sexy Jesus" probally won't win, but I just want to see the audiences reactions to it. The reactions will be better then it would be for the song "Raped in the face".

Posted: 12/18/08 at 4:43pmI actually like several of the HSM3 songs. Granted, I don't think much of the cast, but "Can I Have This Dance" is a genuinely pretty song, and "Scream" is really infectiously catchy.

Posted: 12/19/08 at 1:51pmI think the Academy should expand the list of nominees in this category so every song from HSM3 can be nominated so they can all perform all the songs on TV with Hugh Jackman in a g-string and then all the songs can all tie for Best Song (how could anyone choose just one?) and then all the most deserving nominees will get the awards and then it will be the best and most memorable awards show ever. You will sorry when you find out I am right. You will all be sorry.
