Posted: 9/25/06 at 12:48pmIt's a very valid question and Chris Jones has some interesting suggestions. We are quickly reaching a point where no tours or pre-Broadway tryouts could come to Chicago because the three main theaters are booked with long running hits. And his suggestions (Revive the Fine Arts or Blackstone) seem far-fetched but the renovation of the Oriental seemed all but impossible until it was accomplished with relative ease 10 years ago.....
