Do you really want to know?... with a godfather grandpop called the "teflon Don" because none of the charges could stick to him...and a daughter that has applied for his "canonization"...Right!

Just watch a few Godfather re-runs.
I've known too many kids like this. These Gotti brats are no Brady Bunch! I just wanna smack their faces off!

Once again, I'm sure I'm going to sound like the biggest prude - but this really disturbs me. I can't say I've ever been overly fond of fictional mob stuff (The Godfather, The Sopranos, etc.) but at least it was fiction. These people are REAL - and their families have been involved in crime - up to and including murder - for years. To me this is tantamount to having a reality show about the Bin Laden sons - 'At Home with the Terrorists.' I just can't understand the glorification of crime like this - at all.

I was just basing this off of the poster. I think "guidos" as you so lovingly put it are pretty hot--"Italians" is what I think you mean to say.

There is more to "hot" than the latest Falcon video or A&F ad.

DGrant--thanks for carrying the prudery banner while I was changing my white gloves (a bit of soot on one of them....) In addition to the grotesque sadism of reality TV in general (except for "America's Next Top Model"--that is some quality TV), the reality of what makes the Gotti family "interesting" is not benign or funny--it's violence and destruction.

Oh--and only one of them is Hot.

I grew up as a child with many wonderful Italian families. I worked for two Italian owned businesses and had no clue who I was really getting involved with.

Their concept of 'family' holds a whole new meaning. It can be as scary as hell! Some very powerful, fickle and often confused people. I spent many nights watching my back.

These reality shows are all pure nonsense, to me. Just a bunch of attention mongers taking ordinary life and making a spectacle of themselves. And people eat it up. I have no time for it.
