Dog Adoption!

I'm thrilled to say, this past Saturday I adopted a rescue dog, named Ellie! She's the mother of 4 puppies and is so lovable! Adopting pets makes me so happy and feels so rewarding! Ellie is the third dog I've adopted. Anybody else have any stories to tell about adopting their pet or anything of that nature?

Aww! She's adorable. :) No shelter pets for me recently, but I do volunteer for a wonderful group in my area. I just love animals.

EARS!!! we love the ears...as evidenced by the pooch we adopted 10 years ago (Lucky!!)...see left. :)

Her ears were her major selling point for me! I love that when her ears are straight up like in the picture she has little wrinkles on the top of her head!

Congrats! What a beauty she is. We adopted a pound pup 4 years ago that looks very similar, ears and all, except she's all black with a bit of white on her chest. In fact, we just celebrated her 4 year "gotchya" birthday on Monday.
