Dog looking for home

The wife of one of my coworkers just sent around this email and I thought I would share it on the board should there be anyone who wants to provide this dog a home or knows someone who would.
**********************************************************

This is Obi-Wan! Obi for shorts. He is a 1.5 yr old 65-75lb Chocolate Lab who is looking for a new home. His first family had to give him up as they felt they werent able to give him the time and devotion he needed, and we've had him now for about a week. He is a SWEEEEET lil guy who loves cuddling anytime, and really gets along with everyone he meets, dog or person. He is
a playful guy when around other dogs, but is quite calm in the house. We hate to give him up, but this lil bundle of love needs a yard and someone who has the ability to crate train him; he whines alot in the crate because he's new at it, and because we live in an apartment, our neighbors are not very happy Dog looking for home He also has taken a few days getting used to being by himself during the day(his old owners had other dogs), so he may do better with someone who is home often or has companions for him already. He knows, and is great at, both Sit and Stay, but a lil beginner leash training wouldnt hurt at all. All in all, hes a wonderful puppy who just needs to find the right fit! Please call Michelle ASAP at 732-770-0369

I suggest going to Petfinder.com and doing a search for resuces in your area. I work for a small non-profit rescue and we are one of MANY in this area (most, if not all, are no kill). You would be surprised by the amount of smaller rescues around the country. Good luck!

(Martha Graham from a letter to Agnes de Mille) "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening That is translated through you into action, And because there is only one of you in all time, This expression is unique. If you block it, It will never exist through any other medium And be lost. The world will never have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, Nor how valuable it is, Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, To keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware Directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, A blessed unrest that keeps us marching And makes us more alive than others."
